PHILADELPHIA LOVE PARK SKATEBOARDING HAS RETURNED re: in fact they’re taking over the City!

Love Park Skaters
Ok this is just wrong. I watched this kid about 5 minutes
not once did he make a clean land. Often he laid in the middle of the street after the impact of the 5 foot fall. I gues he doesn’t have a safe place to skate since the older kids are at Love Park and the skate board park promised so many years ago at Fairmount Park isn’t built yet? How’s that coming along?
The other kid was smarter, but not much. He skateboarded on to the sidewalk.
Also saw a dozen skate boarders at City Hall. At least it keeps the pigeons away.

HughE!!! You have me crying at my desk with the picture of the kid in the street lol.

The skate park that was promised to the skaters needs to get built ASAP. Maybe now that they have completed the Please Touch Museum they will get right on it!

I agree!

i almost fell into the flamingo pink water fountain in front of city hall yesterday (with my new 1k camera!) because a skateboarder wizzed by me and fell…

but seriously, i think it is a really cool idea… i think it will add a lot to the whole riverwalk/ parkway / pma area as a whole.

The kid in the street is my son, (and it was great to see the picture that you took of him) and the boy looking down at him is my god-son (in the picture of the boy looking down at the one on the street. Your pictures were great.
Thanks for posting them.
