Shane Victorino Foundation Dinner at Palladino’s – What’s for dinner, Interesting Auction Items & Link

Tuesday night I was honored to shoot the Shane Victorino Foundation dinner at Palladino’s, it was a very private, small dinner among friends. It was a really nice event, and spoke volumes to what a class act Melissa and Shane Victorino are, here they are 3 years after he was traded. The first time they are “officially” back in Philly and they organize a fundraiser for a local institution, The Boys and Girls Club of Nicetown. It was top secret event, so things I normally tweet about you didn’t see like the room, place settings, food and fun action items. I put them here, and at the bottom I will have a link to where the photos went so far.

The 3 Belled restaurant was nicely set up with the tables pushed together for community chat, and numbered.

I thought it was interesting how they did the place settings.
After Shane and Melissa welcomed the guests, Chef Luke Palladino greeted the guests and chatted about the night’s menu
Savory asparagus flan with truffled egg salad
Jonathon Rodriguez and Anthony “TJ” Ricciardi preparing the 2nd course
 Filet Mignon and scallops
Dessert would normally be here, but the chocolate hazelnut mousse was so delicious  it disappeared before I could shoot it.

Two of the auction/raffle items that I thought were significant was the Lago’s Key next to the Boston Strong Key.
Signed Shane Victorino jersey and shoes from the 2008 playoff game
A signed Chase Utley bat, and lots of other signed sporting memorabilia, trips, experiences and this fun one

A Rodan + Fields Dermatologist-Created Skincare Products where they put Shane’s head on the models head to really push the product. So funny those philanthropic Victorino’s
I hope you caught the new “Breakfast On Broad” show Wednesday morning, a few of the photos from the dinner were there, as well as in my Philly Mag column  and here on Philly.com
