Info: Walk For Suicide Awareness and Prevention October 2 at Phila Art Museum

Thousands Walk to Prevent Suicide  ***  2016 Philadelphia Out of the Darkness Community Walk  Benefiting American Foundation for Suicide Prevention  Philadelphia, Pa., (September 21, 2016) –

Walk

The 12 th Annual Philadelphia Out of the  Darkness Community Walk takes place Sunday, October 2, 2015, at the Philadelphia  Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and  the walk begins at 9 a.m.  The Walk is hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the American Foundation  for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). More than $500,000 was raised in 2015. An expected  5,000 participants from across the Greater Philadelphia area will attend.  AFSP Philadelphia Board President Jan Evans announced that the AFSP  Philadelphia “Buck in a Bucket” Suicide Prevention Program will be launched at  the walk. “Buckets will be a vehicle for fundraising but more importantly – the risk  factors of suicide will be printed on the buckets for people to see and understand,”  Evans said. “Our fundraising focuses on delivering community based programs that  help eliminate the loss of life from suicide by delivering innovative prevention  programs and educating the public on the risk factors associated with suicide.”  It is estimated that each year, nearly 1 million Americans make a suicide attempt, more  than 38,000 die by suicide, and more than 20 million suffer from depression; which is a  precursor to suicide. Suicide is the third leading cause of death among teens and young  adults and the second leading cause of death for college students. Additionally, older  Americans over the age of 65 account for 16 percent of all suicide deaths.  To register for the walk, go to www.afsp.org/philadelphia.

Skinny Mini Bethenny Frankel Swings Back into Town to Encourage to Take A Swig of her Wine

Skinny Mini Bethenny Frankel Swings wearing her signature color orange,
and one of her favorite dresses, poses for a quick pix before sitting at a table to meet fans

Skinny

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) hosted founder of Skinnygirl® Cocktails and “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Bethenny Frankel Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection Store at 1112 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia.

Skinny

Bethenny met with about 300 fans and signed purchased bottles from her Skinnygirl Cocktails line Skinny

There were also shared samples of the new Skinnygirl Spicy Lime Margarita, and Brulee catering handed out lite bites to the fans on hand.

Skinny

This weekend King of Prussia Mall is hosting a very special shopping event September 25th in celebration of the opening of their expansion and to benefit Abramson Cancer Center. It’s free, but donations are encouraged. Bethenny Frankel will be our special guest, demonstrating Skinnygirl beverage pairings with signature items from our new restaurants. The event is from 6:00-9:00 PM in the new connector and will feature a DJ, fashion vignettes, sampling, register-to-win promos, beauty bars and much, much more. All of our new stores will be open and hosting fun in-store events and promotions.  We invite you to join us and thank you in advance for anything you can do to share this and help us promote the event with your friends, associates and family. For complimentary tickets to this special Evening of Giving, visit simon.com/eog. INFO HERE

Skinny

I’m not gonna lie, where Bethenny goes drama follows, and there was a little drama during my shoot. A women came in with the cutest baby, as a seasoned celebrity photographer I can tell you that babies and celebs photos sell better than say men, or men over 50. I take a few shots, I know I have the money shot and I go to leave. Darn I wish I hadn’t lingered cause the PR person comes by and says I can’t publish the baby and the bottle photo. Skinnygirl has a rule that no one under 21 can be near/handle/be photographed with Skinnygirl ie liquor. Dang people, there goes my People cover.

Skinny

This guy was from McGillin’s and bought a couple bottles. Unfortunately he told her, McGillin’s doesn’t sell her brand.

Skinny

Each fan got a free make up sample from one of these guys as they exited

Skinny

I was surprised how inexpensive the wine was, if I wasn’t on my way to 2 other events I would have picked up a signed bottle myself

Where is the Photo You Took of Me This Week – Links to Sites

Good Sunday afternoon. I shoot about 5 – 10 events a week. The photos are run on PhillyChitChat, Philly Mag online, Philly Style online, Philly Metro online, Philly Business Journal online and in print at Liberty City Press, Philly Mag and Philly Style Mag. Sometimes they don’t make it online but are posted on the events social media. Today I’m publishing the links for the photos that made it in my online columns. Sorry I don’t send photos out as most event I am hired to shoot by the organizer and which ever photos I don’t use goes back to them. Whichever photo goes into the media outlet, belongs to them. There may be more photos published in various outlets, as the editors can’t always keep up with me and the events, during social season it’s intense.
