CycleBar has made a splash in our area and next week (May 11, 2017) another one is opening this time in North Wales. CycleBar North Wales is celebrating their Grand Opening May 11, 2017 by giving away 2,500 free rides! With energizing rides tailored to all fitness and experience levels, CycleBar will inspire, motivate, and pump you up to face your day. (Plymouth Meeting CybleBar opened this week.)
CycleBar offers high-energy cycling classes — some competitive, some more laid-back and encourages riders to go at their own pace. The class I attended had guests of all levels of fitness.
We offer FREE intro rides every week. During an intro ride, we will walk you through the basics, set you up on the bike, introduce you to your personal performance metrics, and show you how to rock your ride in a full class.
Many first-timers jump right into a regular ride, which is also totally fine. Most new riders start with our three-ride intro package. Regardless of which ride or package you choose, you can modify a CycleBar ride to your own fitness level.
CycleBar they take care of everything, so all you have to do is show up, clip in, and ride.
They provide shoes for FREE—along with a complimentary water bottle and snacks. Got your own shoes? CycleBar bikes are compatible with SPD shoes. Along with lockers that have coded keypads for easy access and safe storage for all of your belongings, they also have a locker room, robes, hair ties, wet clothing bags, and other toiletries for you to use.

James, the bar and restaurant Launched a New Menu for their Gastropub
According to my friends at Wikipedia: The term “gastropub” was coined in 1991, when David Eyre and Mike Belben took over The Eagle pub in Clerkenwell, London. Traditionally, British pubs were drinking establishments and little emphasis was placed on the serving of food. If pubs served meals they were usually basic cold dishes such as a ploughman’s lunch. I think we all can agree, especially the Yelpers of Philadelphia, that James, the bar/restaurant at 1835 Arch Street has delicious food.
Recently they updated their menu with new choices, at affordable prices. I stopped by and took a few photos of the new menu items.
Deviled Eggs, delicious and a great presentation – $8
The James Wedge $10
The James Daily Flatbread $13
Moroccan Spiced Wings – $12
The Millionaires Mac & Cheese Skillet – Lobster Mac & Cheese $14

The collection of paintings by Mary Spinelli, Georganna Lenssen, and Nicole Michaud have been curated by the Stanek Gallery in Old City. The collaboration of abstract pieces creates a landscape of conceptual imagery.
With a keen appreciation for arts and culture and a law practice that supports many aspects of the arts and creative world Francine Griesing decided to use the walls of the office space to showcase local artists.
When Griesing Law LLC launched in 2010 founder and CEO Fran Griesing wanted to create a pleasant atmosphere for clients and staff at her law firm. OK The Draft is pretty spectacular to have in Philly. For me I don’t really know who the players are. Thankfully my new friend Eddie Alderson was with me Wednesday and could fill me in even on our own players. So bad of me right. Eddie wasn’t with me last night, so we’re just going to post the photos and I bet you know who these guys. It was a fun night. I didn’t get to go to the NFL Experience yet, tonight I will I think. I do have one more party to attend. I really hope you guys get out there and enjoy.
Thanks Logan Hotel for allowing me to come up and shoot this
Thanks to my neighbors the Bernick’s for allowing me to shoot this from your balcony

HISTORY OF FLAVORS
Flavors on the Avenue is inspired by EastPassyunk’s former Flavors fundraiser held under a tent each year. After eleven years, many of which sold out, the event goes from under the tent and into the street. Capacity expands from 1,000 guests to thousands. The tent is gone and the event goes from a parking lot to five blocks. Instead of food and drink, the event now includes family activities, music and retail sidewalk sales.
“This year we wanted to go bigger and include more businesses and invite the entire community,” added Zenzola. “We sold out for nearly eleven years. We were limited in what we could do with size of the tent and scale of the activities. Now, we want to invite everyone to five blocks of the best food in the city. Come enjoy the day with us!”
