The lineup was unveiled simultaneously
on the music festivals Instagram and Twitter channel via a series of

Aside from the amazing roster

#PCCBuzz: ENGAGEMENTS, WEDDINGS, AWARDS, ANNOUNCEMENTS

A lot of times people leave notes on my FB page, tweet me etc of their good news. Sometimes I will find it myself. Once a week I’m going to put it on PCC under #PCCBuzz so you’ll know to surf in and see what’s going on around you, new business, things of interest and the people it’s happening to.

Chelsea Wurzak marries Brian Govberg at the Plaza in NYC. She’s now going to go by Chelsea Govberg. Their names may be familiar, they are from two very prominent Philadelphia families. The Wurzak’s are developers in the area, specializing in hotel’s. The Govberg’s are into jewelery, but they also co-own Whisper and G Lounge. *Get it “G” Lounge. Both kids are super sweet, and down to earth. Congrats!!
Congrats to Anne Nikolaus and Paul Pereira who got engaged last weekend at the Morris Arboretum.

They met a year ago at Amber Gomes and Pedro Gomes wedding in Newport RI. I’ve always heard that was a great place to meet a beau. (Kevin Feiner jewelery custom made Anne’s gorgeous ring.)

Happy Birthday Casey Anderson. It was at Casey and Jason Duran’s engagement party I met Maria Papadakis a second time 5.5 years ago, and then we became good friends.

Always inpirational: Scott Crossin

Singer/Model man on the scene in Philly for the past year, Nick Hisson with his dad, and mom, and step-dad Steve Wynn (Thank god he never got a hold of the Dream Garden) at his graduation from University of Pennsylvania on Monday. Nick is moving to LA to persue his music career. He already has a top hit out:

If I Die Young

Abbey Feiner and Ben Wanger Engagement Pixs. Super Sweet. (Did Kevin Feiner design his daughter’s ring?)

Photos from historic day: Yo Gay’s You Can Marry in Pennsylvania Now – Mark Segal Gets Sworn In To Process Licenses

What a whirlwind 24 hrs. It was an emotional day, a joyous day, I felt validated as a gay man because as I tweeted yesterday it was less than 30 years ago that being gay was designated as a mental illness;

it was one of the happiest days of my life, not only because I can marry my partner of 20 years, Mike Toub, but maybe lives will be saved. Kids won’t kill themselves because being gay is stigmatized or their families disown them, friends turn their backs on them, perhaps bullying will be water downed just a little bit because the government says gays deserve rights too, like the right to marry.  Lives will be saved.

I ran over to City Hall as soon as I could to capture the joyous moments, like Lindsay and Ashley. FIVE years ago they met at Sisters, and have been together ever since. On Friday Lindsay Vandermay was scheduled to be at City Hall to changed her name to incorporate Ashley Wilson’s name, now they’re scheduled to get married and do the name change.

Mark Segal and Jason Villmez sign up for their marriage license. Mark was headed to City Hall to be sworn in to issue marriage licenses, and in the cab over they both said hey why don’t we get married. Makes sense, the duo have been together for 10 years. In the background is L-R Guy Sabelli, Marriage License Supervisor, Councilman James Kenney, Register of Wills Ron Donatucci and sitting Justin Graham, who’s mom posted this on my FB page after I posted this shot.
Carol Cascio Graham So proud of my son getting to be part of this historic day-way to go, Justin!
12 female couples and 7 male couples signed up for licenses’ during the 3 hr window of opportunity.

Today the office opened early, and will remain opened late to accept more applications.

Photos & Unique Auction Items at the Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas Foundation

You know what I love about the Phillies, win or lose they champion charity causes. Last week I headed over to the Union League and hit up the Jimmy Rollins Family Foundation “Bollywood Nights.”

A few nights before that I was at the Richie Ashburn-Harry Kalas Foundation dinner Morton’s. In year’s gone by Ryan Howard hosted his “Celebrity Server Night”at Morton’s, and that was always fun. He hasn’t done that in a bit, but now the Ashburn-Kalas Foundation has picked up the bat, and for the past 2 years they’ve had their charity dinner there.

These events are more intimate and fans have a chance to get up close and personal with their hometown heroes, in addition to bidding on fun silent auction items.

Like this collection of artist drawn, signed baseballs

A Richie Asburn signed bat, pretty rare I’d say.
 Signed Cole Hamels shadow box

This Utley Jersey was up to $450 when I shot this.

There’s always a celebrity on hand. Here’s Rubin Amaro and Jami Schnell.

Party Pixs: Ted Baker London Opens in Style at the KOP Mall

Earlier this month Ted Baker celebrated their GRAND OPENING, with party with style.

It’s easily reached, located at KOP Mall near Nieman Marcus with plenty of parking but a rolling party trolley brought some of the most stylish folks from Philadelphia to the party.

Leaving from Skai Blue Media’s showroom at 3PM helped get the party started early.

Curran J, Taylor Green, Ian Crumm, Lauren Mantilla, Dom
Streater,  Evan Shapiro, Brittany
Stewart, Quentin Washington, Cory Hindorff, Sabir Peele, Alice Chan,  Dallas Shaw,
and Alexander Kacala

Heading to the VIP party, the stylish crew tweeted their excitement on what might be in store.

Ted Baker has nice colorful clothes for the ladies.
Deanna Hendricks, Courtney Bolden, Lindsay
Tillery
There are a lot of men’s accessories

Nicole Paloux and Sabir Peele

Dressing rooms are spacious and there’s a seat for you or your clothes. I like the

I love the checkout area with lots of bell accents

There was entertainment,

not always what you expected.

Each Ted Baker store is unique. The one in KOP, just outside of Philly, incorporates a lot of the colonial symbols that we love in historic Philadelphia.
Ted Baker has an extensive collection of men’s clothing.

Dallas Shaw, Kristy Sevag and Jen Frederick

Rakia Reynolds, Curran J, Annie Rosllini, (Miss PA) and Taylor Green,

Love Ted’s bags, especially the wallets and cosmetic bags;

Photos: Night Market in Old City #NightMkt #VisitPhilly #NewFoodTruck Coming

Last night I photographed two events, Night Market and the Annual Franklin Square Gala. I took the long way from Fairmount and hit up the very start of Night Market in Old City before heading to the square, then came back later in the night. The first one of the season.

It was held on 3rd and Arch Streets. It was a good spread of space.
There’s such great character in this area, once a thriving, bustling area, somehow it lost it’s charm in the past few years. There are still pockets of charm (Scarlett Ally, Clay Studio, Book Trader), art galleries and new stores are popping up, but the Market Street corridor and south or Market has become hot and pulled the people that way. It’s due for a comeback soon. Anywho…
Smak Parlor – a genius idea, now being repeated by others. It’s a fashion store on wheels that pops up at festivals and events.
I love shooting festivals, there are always the most interesting characters there
Old City is a great place to live. I like that work is getting a little dressier lately.
Night Market provides maps for the location of all the food trucks.
Let’s talk about these trucks: OMG the concept has really BLOWN UP. I think the first food truck that moved Philly’s thoughts from dirty, destination food truck to mobile, delicious cuisine had to be Buttercup Cupcakes.
Someone on the food scene showed me their new food truck which they’ll be launching soon. (I took this photo w/my phone of their phone and well, it serves the purpose here since I’m not allowed to talk about it, yet.)
Sometimes food trucks still look like they should be cited for being “dirty”. I guess it’s hip to look like a food market stand in rural America.
The cross roads of Old City Night Market 3rd and Arch, at 530PM
8PM. Society Hill Dance Academy was doing their thing. Love the gal with the “boom box”
Looking down 3rd Street from Arch
The night was very successful. There were long lines at many of the food trucks. Some people I chatted with waited up to 45 minutes to eat some mac & cheese.
but it was worth it, these two told me.
 Thanks for reading PhillyChitChat
PCC readers. Thanks for the shout out.

Just hanging out Zac MacMath, (r) Goalkeeper for the Philadelphia Union, and former goalkeeper for the Maryland Terrapins, and friends.

the photo he took on instagram
Not a cell phone in sight.

 except to capture memories

There were a lot of food court tables, but they filled up quickly.
 Hey!!

They I had to go, I was starving and had less patience than these folks.

Oh Baby Chase and Jen Utley, Alycia Lane, Aditi Roy and Brent Celek is off the market.

Last night at the Union League the Jimmy Rollins Family Foundation held their annual bash. This year’s theme: Taste of the World: Bollywood Bash 2014. It was great as many of his teammates were on hand to support his cause, and they dressed for the occasion. (I will cover the whole bash in my Philly Mag column which should be published by noon today update: Here, in the meantime THE BIG STORY OF THE NIGHT.)

Jen and Chase Utley are about to become parents again.
Jen to me, I’m not getting fat, I’m pregnant. Yeah, I don’t know if anyone in the press room was as excited as I was. Mr and Mrs Baseball are going to have another little Benjamin or Betty. Both of them were glowing as you can see. Friends of the couple tell me she is due in late fall, near the end of the baseball season. That seems to be the trend with baseball players.
Here are a lot of the pretty wives of the Phillies. OK I don’t know who the first gal is, but she’s pretty. Then it’s Trisha Manship,Stephenie Kendrick, Jen Utley, Heidi Hamels and Krystal Howard.

More baby news, as tweeted by me, then written more extensively by Philly Daily News’ Molly Eichel – former anchor at CBS3, Alycia Lane (who then moved to LA to take a job) is expecting a baby in June. Her sister Nicole took these photos, and I’m using them with permission.

Congrats Alycia, you look beautiful.
Congrats to former NBC10 anchor, now ABC reporter, Aditi Roy. She left Philly a few years back, to take a job in LA with ABC (I see a trend that LA), got married and now she’s a mom.
Brent Celek is off the market. Facebook notifications are like promise rings or being pinned by your favorite boyfriend in high school on Happy Days.
Please Check out today’s other entry where you’ll find Gov Ed Rendell & his disco ball.
Chip Kelly stops by Jeremy Maclin’s Bday Party
