Super Bowl Champ Brandon Graham Launches Crooked Tea in Philly at Ladder 15

Over the weekend, the Crooked Tea 🍋 team made a big splash in Philly, teaming up with two-time Lombardi Trophy winner and former Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham,

who brought the energy to Ladder 15 in Center City on Saturday, April 12, to celebrate the official launch of Crooked Tea, a new hard iced tea brand.

Brandon rolled deep with lots of fans, influencers, and friends

Saturday night quickly turned into an unforgettable Philly moment when Brandon surprised everyone by hopping behind the bar and passing out cans of Crooked Tea.

The crowd got the full Crooked Tea experience—chilled cans, live selfies, nonstop laughs, and a taste of what the brand stands for: bold flavor, high energy, and unapologetic vibes.

Spotted: Peyton Manning, Jason Kelce, Bok Bar

Happy Tuesday, spring is in the air, even if it doesn’t feel like it. I see the big tent is in place for the 62nd Edition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art – The Philadelphia Show this week.

Also this is the last weekend for Darnel’s Cafe’s pop up at Bok Bar. Joe Lope and Kyle Cuffie-Scott co-owners of Darnel’s Cafe at Bok Bar Friday night when I stopped by to pick up a delicious BLT sandwich.

Peyton Manning was spotted shopping on Walnut Street Saturday, while in town for his daughter Madison‘s volleyball tournament at the convention center. It was there he ran into Marvin Harrison Sr. a former professional football player who was a wide receiver for 13 seasons with the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League, playing much of it with quarterback Peyton, was born and lives in Philly. Peyton posted this photo on his IG Sunday.

Have you seen it? Jason Kelce’s new Tesla Truck. Since his retirement he’s been spotted all over town, like our own “Where’s Waldo?” (The Indie Shelf Philly) Monday he was spotted in South Philly getting his haircut.

Jason Kelce pointing out one of his favorite bumper stickers to his hairdresser Libby Hitt, who also shears a few other Eagles heads.

Eagles Fans Celebrate The Joy Of Winning – Lots of Love, Hugs & High Fives

Congratulations. THIS IS US, thanks Eagles for bringing us together. What an amazing night of football and celebration.

I started my night off attending Billy Nigro’s (Eye Encounters) annual Super Bowl Party, but this year we were in the Super Bowl, holy cow!!
Old friends Lisa Booth and Mike Missanelli

I got out to Broad Street with about 90 seconds on the clock, and boy did they wind down slowly

Outside Brent Celek’s Blue Duck on Broad

The police were just as interested in watching the game as the rest of us fans

and celebrated the win before their boss told them to get on their bikes

The first fans head out to Broad Street to celebrate

It was a very emotional moment for all of us

Unlike two weeks ago I thought I’d walk around a bit, and BTW the crowds Sunday night were 5xs more than 2 weeks ago. It was crushing to be on Broad Street

Chestnut Street much better except people didn’t get the memo that they’d be stuck for hours in traffic and fans on foot

Modell’s was open and selling shirts and memorabilia. I would have bought some but the line was out the door at midnight.
He told me he got his costume at Walmart.

Poles were not match for Philadelphian’s

This women kept saying over and over “YES WE DID!!”

Eagles Fans Get Lit on Broad Street Celebrating The NFC Win

Eagles Fans Get Lit on Broad Street Celebrating The NFC Win

We are not done yet celebrating the Philadelphia Eagles won on Sunday night against the Vikings to capture the NFC Championship Game. I placed a lot of photos from the celebratory night in outlets, with links to them at the bottom. In the meantime here are a few more.

I ran into my sister’s friend at The Blue Duck on Broad

It was a fantastic party

Dude seriously if you didn’t want to be in the photo with these guys you could have said no, or maybe you just wanted to see if I’d publish it. You must not know me, I photographed celebrities in NYC for 5 years. These were the money shots!!

I had a great time at McGillin’s as well, but the best party, the one not to miss happens at Tavern on Broad. So much fun, people are really nice,

the booze is reasonable and when we win the Super Bowl, you just roll out the door and there’s Broad Street.

I need this suit, does it come in a 3x large. I went to buy a T Shirt, and they do not.
I got a hat.
I like a guy that brings his own boom box and crowd
Fireworks and girl on a light pole. See her on left hanging on for dear life?
I was standing next to Drew Smith, NBC10 while the largest toilet paper stream floated down from who knows where. I think we all want to know what brand that is
A beginning of a wonderful mummy
I learned a new word, these two kept yelling – take a photo of us, we’re Yunks!! Eventually they explained they were from Manayunk

He came prepared
WHY Can’t we be Friends, Why Can’t We Be Friends…. We can!!
Jenny from the block, or as I like to call her my editor from Metro Philly
crowds were just streaming up Broad Street towards City Hall
OH I see he has an Eagles head
Mike and Renee are HAPPY
Broad Street is LIT!! as Jeniece Armstrong wrote on one of my posts Sunday night.

WAWA was packed, in 2008 this was the site of Robinson Luggage, and it didn’t fare as well

What an amazing celebration, there was no trouble as the crowd partied in the street from 930ish til a bit after 130 when the police
announced for people to please go home. They did, and the next day the street was clean and open for business.

Check out these sites to see if I caught you in the act of joy

New Dads Todd Herremans and Brent Celek Celebrity Bartend for Gary Papa Run

Eagles Players Get Behind the Bar For Gary Papa Run

Gara Papa Run

Early this spring I told you about best friends, and former teammates Todd Herremans wife Elizabeth and Brent Celek‘s wife Celeste were all expecting babies and their due dates were within weeks of each other. Well the babies have all been born, and they’re cute little girls. Mommy and babies are looking forward to playing in the sandbox real soon along with Heather Mitts and AJ Feeley‘s daughter born a month earlier.  All three couples were at Dancing for the Future Stars for IMS schools. Fast forward to yesterday where the bffs were doing good raising money for prostate cancer awareness and the Gary Papa Run  coming up June 19 at the Art Museum.

Gary Papa Run

A celebrity bartending event was held at Brent Celek’s Prime Stache to raise funds for the upcoming Gary Papa Run. Philadelphia Eagles players  Connor Barwin, Lane Johnson, Todd Herremans and Jason Kelce played bartenders for a day to whip up cocktails for patrons from 5pm to 7pm with proceeds going to support the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health’s prostate cancer initiatives in the Philadelphia area. (BTW Brent’s new eater BOP, 220 S. Broad St., OPENS TODAY)

Lots of people came out to support the boys and their quest to raise funds.

50% of restaurant proceeds from the evening will be donated, along with the bartenders tips. A $10 donation at the door is suggested.

The Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health (FBPH) is a Philadelphia-based, world-renowned nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation and think tank that serves as a catalyst to advance breast and prostate cancer education, awareness and treatment, while advancing the scope of scientific research through grants to pioneering doctors in both fields.  Since the organization was founded, it has gained regional, national and international recognition as a major source for public awareness of breast and prostate cancer related issues. – See more at: https://www.garypaparun.com/our-story/#sthash.lj9i91xH.dpuf

“The organizers stress to me that Prostate Cancer can and should be caught early. It’s important to get a painless examination to”–I think you might have left off the end of this sentence. Would be great if you can say “It’s important for all men after 40 to get screened and to discuss their prostate health with their healthcare providers. Early detection saves lives.”

I ran into Justin Pizzi and friend, both from Saxbys on my way out to the CCD 25th Anniversary Party, which I’ll write up next week. Have a great weekend!!

Celebs Out and About in Philly, and Atlantic City – New Couple Alert – Goodbye Monique Crawford, so fun to shoot

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Hafthor Julius Bjornsson) The Mountain from Game of Thrones and “Second Strongest Man in the World” has been making the media circuit for the past couple days. Yesterday he
He had dinner at Devil’s Den 1148 S 11th St, Philadelphia, PA 19147  He’s in town for this weekend’s Philadelphia Renaissance Faire

 Crazy shirt.

I love this shot with people trying to take selfies with him any way possible.

Earlier, Square 1682’s Chef Caitlin Mateo delivered lunch to him at Philadelphia Weekly offices. Speaking of both Square 1682 and Phila Weekly…
Charles Wiedenmann ran into Wyonna Judd at Square 1682 on Wednesday night. She’s in town for the WXPN concert today. Congratulations are in order for
Charles, he’s joined the new Philadelphia Weekly newspaper, er magazine now.
Last night I spotted Eagles player Mark Sanchez at Del Frisco’s. The place was hopping with a lot of big named Eagles and Sixers players, none of which I can remember and didn’t write down. Wait that ‘s right I saw

Former Philles Marlon Anderson (r) (last night he tweeted: On doing a little pregame with , tune in to watch.) also spotted Mike Jerrick, and in another section John Bolaris.
How long has this been going on – New Couple Alert John Clark and Randyl Case. Randyl looked adorable but for whatever reason my camera missed the first two shots and every one had a laugh til I captured this tender moment at Del Frisco’s last night.

We all headed to Rumor, where Tee Fish was manning the door with his usual flair.

Wendy Williams hit the Boardwalk with Mayor Don Guardian this weekend for the dedication of the new Wendy Williams Boardwalk bench. Wendy was in amazing spirits talking about
being a true Jersey girl and saying she is going to come back and check
on the bench frequently, also asked the crowd not to pass wind on it – no
joke. She also requested the bench be placed near a delicious eatery and not on a dead spot on the boardwalk, say near Revel. She was in town for the weekend to perform at the Borgata. Friends tell me she didn’t chat about a lot of the things they wanted to hear about, like why did she have that fight with NeNe Leakes, who visited AC a few days later and seems to be getting more than a bench in AC.

Apologies to Monique Crawford for not making it to her going away party. I did see her a few weeks ago when she told me of her plans, and I gave her an extra good luck hug. I’m excited for her, glad I met her, and thankful she spent some of her life here in Philly. It was always fun to photograph her.

When I saw her at Bank and Bourbon I knew that would be the last time. I really hate to say good-bye to people, and those parties.

I have a long bad habit of skipping those parties. Sorry. xo

THE HERREMANS FOUNDATION AND DICK’S SPORTING GOODS HOST SHOPPING EVENT FOR KIDS

I really wanted to go to this, but I was covering the Philly Style Magazine party, which I will be writing about on Monday. Tune in to see what people wore, and what they told me, especially Carl Dranoff.

********************

The Todd Herremans Foundation recently hosted
members of Leprechaun Sports Association of Philadelphia at DICK’S
Sporting Goods. Eagles players Todd Herremans, Jason Kelce and Mark
Sanchez
served as “Shopping Consultants” and surprised the kids with
$100 shopping sprees from the Herremans Foundation as they shopped for
winter coats, gloves, boots and other cold-weather gear.

Todd Herremans and the kids. I like those shamrocks on the sleeves. I think this would be a good St Patrick’s Day look. (It’s only 10 weeks away)

“It’s a great feeling to provide underserved
children with a chance to get the cold-winter gear they need, as well as
some other great things from DICK’S,” said Herremans. “I’m really
thankful for (Jason) Kelce and Mark (Sanchez) to take time out of their
busy schedules to help spread some holiday cheer.”
  Jason Kelce

The kids enjoyed a Chik-Fi-Let lunch, and who wouldn’t.
