Main Line Restaurants Which Remind Me Of Spring

If it wasn’t exciting enough that Main Line Today and Today Media announced the 2022 Main Line Today Restaurant Week running February 21st through March 6th, 2022. The 14-day culinary celebration will bring together and showcase the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties, I found a few spots which will remind you of summer while we ride out the winter weather.

Over 30 restaurants are lined up for this 14-culinary festival that was designed to support the restaurants during these challenging times, raise up the suburban dining scene in the Philadelphia region, and bring attention to the culinary riches from BYOs to full service restaurants – and everything in between.

The 14-day culinary celebration will bring together and showcase the talents of top chefs, restaurants and purveyors in Montgomery, Delaware and Chester counties. Participating restaurants will offer special three-course prix fixe menus for lunch ($26.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity) and dinner ($39.95, plus tax, beverage and gratuity). Restaurants can choose what works best for them, offering lunch, dinner, or both—dine-in or takeout. Foodies from across the tri-state area are invited to save the date, make their reservations, and come hungry for the tastiest weeks of the spring.

Good Friday – Let’s check out what’s happening around town including a bit of gossip.

Philly Fashion Week is happening right now. The kick off was on Wednesday night; last night there was a fashion show at Century 21 hosted by Melissa Magee, 6ABC.

Last night I saw that Dilworth Park has new lighted seats that change color.

Sunday is the last day for you to skate at Rothman Ice Rink as it’s closing for the season.

But don’t fret Center City District is readying Dilworth Park for the nest season of fun, I noticed they’ve installed these cool lighted seats. They flash different colors too for making it that more festive.

I don’t know about you this past weeks taste of summer had me heading to the Philly Zoo. I even bought a membership. They start at $85 and admits you and a guest, plus you get free parking.
BTW did you notice the “Lateran” is lit on top of the Comcast Technology Center
Panda Express is now open at 10th & Market Streets
BTW over in the UK KFC had a problem with their new delivery service and many of their stores ran out of the main course – chicken.
This week they took advertisements out in the paper publishing the above photo. I think they’re pretty cool.
BTW A local chef told me there’s a shortage of bananas and humus in our neck of the woods.

East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District presents East Passyunk Restaurant Week from February 26th to March 9th. The twelve-day dining event will feature 26 award-winning restaurants firing up special three-course lunch and dinner menus for special prices of $15, $25 or $35. New and notable restaurants and chefs this year will include:

* Barcelona Wine Bar – This wine and tapas hot spot will make its debut grand debut

* Pistola’s Del Sur – The restaurant and bar at the Gateway to the Avenue will make its debut
