JL SULLIVANS SPEAKEASY: A Nice Hideaway in the bustling City with great food, spirits and did I mention TVs?

There’s a new sports bar in town, but to me it was more of a luxe lounge with many TVs to catch your favorite sports team. JL Sullivan’s is, by defintion, a cozy hideaway where the surreptitious sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages is aided and encouraged. A high-end gathering post where sumptuous comfort cuisine and chic ambiance fuse. The first of it’s kind, JL Sullivan’s primary function is as a provocateur; offering the finest in food, spirits, and atmosphere. http://www.jlsullivans.com/site/index.php

Confident in it’s prohibition era theme, JL Sullivan’s Speakeasy seeks to establish itself as Philadelphia’s first restaurant, sports bar and lounge providing a nostalgic feel combined with modern and approachable luxury. I understand the speakeasy secret hideaway theme, but let me tell you beyond these doors I felt like I escaped from the noise of the City into a kind of Oz of food, fun, comfort and lots of TVs. Even the hideaway had a few hideaways.
Right off the bat I knew it was going to be a fun evening as I ran into Jason and a Philly Chit Chat fan Jen Karwoski, who hosts Kinky Quizzo over at www.Valanni.com next Kinky Quizzo is this Tuesday @ 10:30pm 1229 Spruce St Philadelphia,PA 19107 215-790-9494 (I must make it over there soon)When you walk into the old Zanzibar Blues nightclub you immediately notice the change, to a much more light color, modern hip destination, capturing the vastness of what made Zanzibar so exciting but including a few nooks and crannies for a getaway for friends or couples to socialize. In one of the back rooms I found the entire Philadelphia Force Professional Softball Team http://www.philadelphiaforce.com/ The girls would love you to come on out and catch their games in nearby Allentown, Pa
A good time was had by all as there were banquettes throughout the club so you and your friends
could party in a more intimate spot
Mother daughter – Can you believe it? I ran into my friends Josh and April (with their friend Matt). The last time I saw April and Josh they were making me a homecooked meal in NYC where I was for 18 months on a business trip 8/05 -12/06. I saw them the first week I arrived in town, and then I discovered the celebrity paparazzi thing and I never looked back. They recently located from the Big Apple to Philly and are enjoying it as the more manageble and happening city that it is. I look forward to seeing them more often now that we are in the same city again. (April went to college with my sister, they were roomates) They enjoyed JL Sullivans as it really captured the exciting nightlife they were used to in that other town.Bringing a little color to the festivities gotta love that carribean inspired dressGood friends relaxing on the white leather wrap around sitting area. I sat down on the plush sofa, and it was a good while before I wanted to get upWith plenty of TV’s to watch there’s not a chance that you will miss your game

even when eating dinner, as each table has their own TV for your personal enjoyment. Through that door on the right is another nook to hide away in. This club really has a lot of different personalities, did I mention the food. I had tuna tarte and the buffalo chicken wings, both were delicious and presented well. Oh yeah and these little hamburgers were delicious. Now that White Castle seems to have bitten the dust, these babies more then fit the bill Harry our host with Tierney Communications reps Jennifer and Harry’s lovely wife makes sure everyone has a drink and is having a good timeJL Sullivans features a long white onyx-topped bar wrapped in black leather with smartly dressed and easy on the eyes waitstaff to attend to your every need.

Even after the open bar was over, folks at this party lingered for hours to watch the game, order dinner and enjoy the atmosphere.
Our speakeasy VIP guests for the eveningCatch the Philadelphia Force’s opening night at ECTB Stadium at Bicentennial Park – Allentown, PA Home of the Philadelphia Force on 5/29/2008
OK I salivating for those little burgers again, I will be stopping by JL Sullivans this week, won’t you join me? (Matt, April or Jennifer Aniston?) Jennifer Aniston Marley & Me Philadelphia Inquirer 5/17/2008

image
I just ate at El Vez last week. Jennifer Aniston has good taste. When I walked by around 3PM, I ran into some friends eating at one of the sidewalk tables. The place was a buzz, Jen was inside. I spoke with one guy who told me “She’s more sexy in person. If I wasn’t gay, I would have trouble controlling myself”. He said that she was sitting in a back booth, but everyone knew she was there. He had to restrain his friends from photographing her, but they agreed, partly because it was rude, and secondly because the lighting was bad. But when it came to exiting the restaurant all bets were off, as a few people were on the sidewalk with their cell phones taking a shot. As for me, a good shot was not to be had, unlike Demi Moore who walks around freely and is reasonable when photographing, Jen not so much. I guess I should have been in NYC last week when she and John Mayer made a very public statement by stopping in the paparazzi hangout “The Waverly Inn” http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20200309,00.html
Or I’d better get out to her movie shoot where she seemed to smile for this guy.

UPDATE: PEOPLE ONLINE TODAY: the actress was “incredibly nice to the staff” and kept calling her waitress “sweetheart,” an onlooker tells us….And from today’s Philly Daily News, Dan Gross’ column Jennifer Aniston was too focused on escaping lunch at El Vez (13th & Sansom) without being photographed Saturday afternoon to notice her meathead bodyguards spitting on and pushing photographer HughE Dillon as he tried to take her picture. http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20201183,00.html?xid=rss-caughtintheact

PHILADELPHIA ‘ S FITLER SQUARE News, a FINAL WORD ON OWEN WILSON Marley & Me and Mama Palma’s Rise from the Ashes

(I try to stay current in my Philly Chit Chat, but when you do back to back events things get lost in the shuffle. This is my week end’s wrap up and I will write about what I did last night, Monday) Last Saturday I was meeting my friend, going on 10+ years friend, Deming for lunch (ok it was for a funeral and lunch). He wanted to show me his new puppy too, Alfie (L) and 8 yr old – Genji (R) He lives in Fitler Square

After catching up, it was off to the 7th Annual Fitler Square Festival. I like the festival, cute small, very neighborhood like, neighbors greeting neighbors

Lots of jewelery on sale for the ladies. I wish you could see her earrings more clearly, they say “Love”cutting edge entertainment, very Bohemian band “The Broken Banjo” this guy was juggling for his daughter, not see here. I like a guy who is versatile that can juggle tennis balls and a front end loader I ran into my friend Patti Fox, who used to sell my greeting cards at her place “The General Store” over on 20th Street. She’s moved on to other things. She’s with her mom, and daughter. Three generations of Fitlerites! Really I went to the festival to see if I could find Patti and I did. We caught up.
Remember this place a few weeks back, it wasn’t a dream my roman. They did film a movie with Lauren Graham and Jeff Daniels near the corner of 21st and Delancy. The Dream of the Romans filmed in front of and inside this house
and it can be yours for a little over a million bucks this is across the street

Where I ran into my co-worker Elkan Katz. It’s must be spring the flower boxes are done in the neighborhood and looking good. I could do a whole segment just on those flower boxes I photographed last week, err maybe on a slow week

I wandered over to Mama Palma’s, which is in the throes of construction. As I was poking around I came by Renaldo and his father. Renaldo says the restaurant will be opening on Tuesday May 20 (update according to MK its 5/27). He wants to thank his neighbors and customers for all their support and prayers these past few weeks since the fire; “People stop by, they give me hugs, food, free lawyer help and kindness. Thanks” Work is continuing almost 24/7 to get everything in place after the new floor was put in. The fire seems to have started in the basement and burn the first floor which fell into it. Just smoke and a little water damage occured to the living space on the 2nd and third floors. The place will be up and running next week and the pizza will be the best in the City once again.

Yesterday the Goodyear blimp was flying around the City.

One last thing on Marley & Me; when Owen Wilson wasn’t filming a scene, he was hiding in the JL Sullivan’s Speakeasy staircase.

Something he wouldn’t be able to do today, ’cause it opened last night. More coverage on the fun and photogenic JL Sullivan’s Speakeasy opening on Philly Chit Chat Monday. Have a great weekend.

Marley & Me Filming in Philadelphia, Pa Owen Wilson and Eric Dane Photos (Plus a free chicken sandwich)

First of all, WOW Thursday already. Here at Philly Chit Chat, I like to do an entry a day, but I do take Saturday and Sunday off, I have to sleep at some point (right now its 2:30AM). I usually have about 300 – 500 visitors on any given day, but I guess I was discovered this week and have about 700 unique hits daily since Tuesday. I hope the momentum continues as there is a lot to cover in Philly for you, I have a few fun stories to write about in the next few weeks, if I could just stay in some evening, there are a couple great restaurants opening up that you will get to see and hear about next week, and hopefully I will have the first Jennifer Anniston photo, which I will share with you even if it’s picked up by a publication.

Now for the long time readers of Philadelphia Paparazzi, er I mean Philly Chit Chat, I couldn’t give you the best shots from yesterday, as there was a bidding war and a stipulation is the photos can’t be seen before they are printed. On to today’s entry: I love a parade, but when all the action and people are at Broad and Locust, where they’re filming Marley and Me http://www.marleyandme.com/index.html well then McDonald’s brings the parade to the people* OK check the next entry, the photos have been published.
Chicken looks for and gets photo op (Press release states: McDonald’s Offers Chicken Options from Morning to Night with Launch of Southern Style Chicken Biscuit and Sandwich)Decides to see how to get attention to their new chicken sandwich and decides the best place is across from the $10 million budget movie production, probably a good move for them, not so good for Owen Wilson or the Greater Philadelphia Film Office. Good thing Sharon Pinkenson is in Cannes.kinda funny seeing the string band play the Chicken Song and parade participants doing the chicken dance* (remember the FREE CHICKEN SANDWICH PART) * May 15 – On the House: McDonald’s Invites Customers to Try New Chicken Offerings – McDonald’s is giving its customers a chance to try the Southern Style Chicken Biscuit from 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., or the Southern Style Chicken Sandwich from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. on May 15, with the purchase of any medium or large beverage at participating restaurants while supplies last. McDonald’s expects to give away more than one million Southern Style Chicken Biscuits and five million Southern Style Chicken Sandwiches during the national sampling event.*
but draws little attention away from the “Movie Stars” that have invaded our city. (Let’s see thats McDreamy, Owen Wilson, Ellen Barkin, Demi, Ashton, Parker Posey, and soon Jennifer Anniston. This City is crawling with celebs and I am going to get very little sleep in the coming weeks.) Fans on the island watching the filming outside the Bellevue. They had nice little cameras and cell phone cameras.
Theres dreamy. Now when I pull out my big gun, it draws all sorts of attention fromPR, Production folks, Owen’s bodyguard, who thought it would be a good time to block my shots.

but I have seen a few fan photos, and they are just as good as mine. hmm theres that big head again. (I really can’t show you all my good photos as they have gone out to papers and People etc…after they are published I will show you them. I don’t like to undercut my market.
more fans. And who was it recently that said Philadelphians are cool and don’t care about celebrities. That stuff has gone hand and hand with celebrities since the days of the Studio Industry shopped out their stars for PR, oh wait, they do that now. Last night Jennifer Anniston and John Mayer went to the paparazzi hangout, THE WAVERLY INN, now don’t think that doesn’t give me permission to shoot her when I get my chance. Don’t manipulate the media in celebrating your new relationship, but prevent me from getting a shot of you when you come to town. I will ask first of course, if she says no, well you know I probably won’t take it. But if she says nothing, well that sounds like a yes to me.
Shooting went on for hours, but I had to return to my day job

Where I could oversee all the action. Owen is near the red fire hydrant

these girls are pointing to him
Contrary to what Philebrity stated last week about Philadelphian’s being too cool to care about celebrities and there was no need for paparazzi in Philly, check out all these Philly Paparazzi:

My photos are on the Inquirer now:

Philadelphia GAY RODEO Liberty Stampede 2008 Thoughts and Photos

I had never been to a rodeo of any kind, and now i know why. It was a two day gay rodeo put on by Liberty Gay Rodeo Association , and we didn’t make it until the 2nd day at the 11th hour. It was bring your kids, friends and fally day as it was Mother’s Day. We only caught two events. The barrel race. Where folks had to run their horses around these barrels and were timed

Nice turnout of cowboys fast

Matt spent a lot of time keeping everyone informed on Twitter – There was just so much to see and do at the Gay Rodeo in Devon. btw, Toby Keith apparently has his own clothing line. My response: It was great except for the pulling of the cows tail by that drag queen who must no be a member of PETA.
Did I mention drag queen races. Except the poor bulls had to be pulled from their pens so drag queens could ride them 5 feet over the finish line. Often the bulls didn’t want anyone riding them so it was a struggle to get them in place

and when they were watch out, the drag queen rode them fiercly
and the celebration after crossing the finish line, five feet sometimes 3 feet later was exhirlrating. I guess it’s like riding the mechnical bull. You neve know how far or how long you’re gonna be with it.
Downtime
I guess you can tell that I won’t be going to Rodeo again.
Another satisfied winner. Good thing I missed the calf roping contest, I would have been crying my eyes out

I’m not a member of PETA, but this was just not my cup of teaBull riding can be fun, adventurous, exciting
but there’s a downside

a dark downside
I don’t think the bull likes it and if you fall he will stomp on you

I don’t think that drag queen will ever forget his first bull
she lived and the Malvern EMT made sure of it
more cowboys
Later in the evening there was a happpy hour and awards ceremony. This guy got started early. We decided that the rodeo wasn’t for us, and headed out for some grub at Hooters. You would not believe how many folks bring their Mothers and Grandmothers to Hooters on Mother’s Day. We were just crossing our fingers that it was someone’s birthday, because if you haven’t seen how Hooter treats a boy on his birthday, then you haven’t seen it all.

DEMI MOORE IN PHILADELPHIA – PEOPLE MAGAZINE MAY 13, 2008

image How excited am I that a photo I took of Demi Moore in Philadelphia, Pa last week, ended up in People Magazine Online today.  It was accompanied by a story about Demi, Ashton and family eating at the Continental Restaurant. image I knew about this meal, but it was Mother’s Day and I just couldn’t do it, plus I did make that promise to Demi that I would never shoot her again for the rest of her stay, and that to me includes the kids.  As the other paparazzo is moving to NYC soon, it will be up to me to capture these moments.   image Tonight I was waiting for Jennifer Anniston, but she didn’t check in yet, and now from the story at the top I see she’s in Orlando with John Mayer.  Maybe she’s not in that scene tomorrow. Brrr it was cold out there on the sidewalk.

Patti LaBelle Honored as “Mother of the Year” in Philadelphia on Mother’s Day (or “Diva’s with a Heart” Diana Ross, Gladys Knight & Chaka Khan)

Last week I shot an amazing concert. It was in Philly, but the Philly Sound was in the house at Radio City Music Hall. Masons: This is a once in a lifetime event. The four Divas have never sung together and they are making history by singing together and in front of an orchestra. Join with us as we celebrate our Laboratory’s 50th Anniversary of helping humankind.(This shot that I took appeared in yesterday’s Inquirer announcing Patti Labelle being honored in Philadelphia by Radio One as “Mother of the Year” ) There’s a lot of other labels I would give her, hottie of the year, awesome singer of the year, inspiration of the year and someone I greatly admire. I have to admit one of the many benefits of being a celebrity photographer is getting to see amazing events and amazing people.
One thing I didn’t know about shooting at Radio City Music Hall is that it is an ordeal. Maybe if I had it all to do again I would just have paid the $200 to see the concert, but then again I wouldn’t have these awesome shots to share with you. After finally making my mind up to shoot it instead of watching it, I got credentialed at the last minute, that was easy part. We were to show up 2 hrs before the start time, which is the norm, and then the hard part. RCMH has their own rules and regulations about shooting, then the “Talent” has rules and regulations. Certain “Talent”, did I mention Miss Ross was on the bill?, didn’t want to be photographed from the orchestra pit like everyone else. She wanted to be photographed from the “RIGHT SIDE OF THE HOUSE” and only for 60 seconds. Well the photogs did not want to hear this, and they threatened to walk, the really big agencies, but I did not want to walk as I really wanted to see the concert. I have to say I was the lone hold out, because I am from Philly and I want to get Patty, as much as I want to see all of them perform. Finally better heads prevailed and we would be able to shoot Miss Ross for her entire song, but still only from the “Right side of the House” (that’s important for you to remember) Each women would sing 5 songs. We would shoot the first song, but for Miss Ross, we could only shoot the 3rd song.

First up – Miss Gladys Knight. OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG “Neither One of Us”; Gladys Knight was and is a phenomenon! The true embodiment of soul, blues, struggle and passion. “Midnight Train to Georgia” they were dancing in the aisle. Did I mention when you shoot at RCMH, or most concerts with multiple acts, you only shoot the first or second song, then you are ushered out. Well for this event it was just one song. We shot KNEELING in the row near the orchestra seats. Have you ever kneeled for 5 – 10 minutes on concrete, it was HORRIBLE and painful. Then after the song we were tapped on the should and had to run up the aisle before the next song started. Can you see how far the stage is, about a NYC block – LOL Then it was back down to shoot Chaka Khan; she started out with Chaka, Chaka, Chaka Kahn let me tell you. It was worth the pain, just so exciting to shoot these women and witness this historic event which benefited the Masonic Medical Research Laboratory, which celebrates 50 years of critical heart research this year.
Then the GODESS came out styling and singing. Thank you Donna Karan for this coat she sang. You know i was so into shooting her, I have no idea what she sang on the opening as I was overwhelmed with joy (I have seen Patti about a dozen times, but to get to shoot her at RCMH was too awesome for words, plus I was in a lot of kneeling pain.) After this song, as I was running to the back of the house, Patti talked about her life and career, which was not without tragedy. In July 1989, she lost her third sister Jackie to cancer. Patti’s two elder sisters had similar fates, with her oldest sister Vivian dying in 1977 (at the height of LaBelle’s success) and the second-eldest sister Barbara, dying in 1982 from colon cancer. Her brother, father and mother also passed away around the same time, making Patti the only living member of her extended family. As we got into position to shoot from “The Right Side Of the House, we started to walk down the ailse on the right side of RCMH. I heard Patti bring to the stage the Bluebelle’s, Sarah Dash and Non Hendryx (“Keep it Confidential” baby). They went into “Lady Marmalade”. Afterwards Labelle announced that she and and former groupmates have returned to the studio to work on a new album and will be touring this summer. (They have turned to a combination of old and new to help them mastermind their return to the charts; Philadelphia soul pioneers Gamble + Huff and rocker Lenny Kravitz) (So I am a little less pissed off at Miss Ross at this moment, because I wouldn’t have been able to sneak this photo from the back of the house)She was Motown’s brightest star, the one with guts enough and ambition enough to make her dreams come true, no matter where they took her. Rules that apply to others have never applied to Diana Ross. She won’t let them. CALL HER MISS ROSS and shoot her from the Right side of the HOUSE!!! Which is the “LEFT SIDE OF THE STAGE” – Stage Right, House Left, Stage Left, House Right,
Finally after 4 minutes into “Stop in the Name of Love” someone informed Miss Ross she was facing the wrong direction and we got a few photos

Miss Ross did not attend the press conference after the show. But I wasn’t complaining.

All in all, it was an amazing day, I am a wuss and had tears in my eyes for each and every performance. Thank you Miss Ross, Miss LaBelle, Chaka and Miss Gladys!

RE LAUNCH OF PHILADELPHIA STYLE MAGAZINE at Phila City Hall

TGIF was more than that last Friday evening as Philadelphia Style Magazine kicked off the re-launching of their magazine; the party was held at CITY HALL in the courtyard, that’s right PHILADELPHIA CITY HALL COURTYARD. City Hall is now hosting events again after the long dark period of vacancy, the lights are on, the veil has been lifted, the building has been returned to its citizens. (and remember this Wed 12PM is the opening of the Farmer’s Market)

The new owner of Philadelphia Style Magazine is Jason Binns of Niche Media. His empire includes some of my favorite magazines Hampton, Ocean Drive and my very favorite Gotham magazine. The publisher remains the same John Colabelli. Sponsors for the night included Lincoln-Mercury Ken Toscano and Peter Fong, and Haley Binn pose on the red carpet. Yes a red carpet in Philly. Philly does not have enough red carpets, more red carpets please. Every event is a celebration and we need a red carpet. Ta dahh can you see who the cover boy is for the first issue of the relaunched magazine…an adopted Philadelphia boy, someone who really gives back to our community.
Jon Bon Jovi. One of the significant differences with the new magazine is the size. The magazine bucks the trend of what’s been happening to other print sources, it celebrates the media, it embraces news/entertainment/fashion/food it has lots of content and features a lot of content, lots of photos and it takes a lot of paper to accomplish this supersizing the the glossy to a healthy 288 pages and measures 10 x 12 inches!! CBS Weatherman Doug Kammerer and his wife Holly Jason Binns greet Mayor Michael Nutter on the red carpet. Both of these men are really revitilizing Philadelphia. Binns is pumping up an already established Philadelphia magazine and taking it to the next level, and well you know how I feel about Nutter. He’s everywhere, he’s Philly’s best PR agent and a leader you can look up to.
On his lapel the mayor was wearing a black police officer shield in honor of Sgt. Stephen Liczbinski who was laid to rest earlier in the dayOn the rainiest day of the month of May Meteorologist Bill Henley and his wife Diane Johnson from Tierney Communications wearing an outfit from Kimberly Boutique, and Jimmy Contreras of Kimberly Boutique. Don’t miss this weekend’s Tibi Trunk Show Saturday, May 17 th 10AM – 6PM Shop the fabulous spring and summer Tibi collections on this special day! Enjoy special treats, fashion tips from Tibi Representatives and of course shopping and more shopping for your spring and summer wardrobe! Molly, Elizabeth, Lisa and Michael from the Lisa M. Reisman Gallery near Rittenhouse Square http://www.lisart.com/
The mantle has been passed Kerri-Lee Halkett is the reining Philadelphia anchor babe, and another weather guesser John Bolaris (when did he return to Philadelphia and are they the new power couple of media?) Reuben Harley of Mitchell and Ness
GREATER Philadelphia Film Office honcho Sharon Pinkenson and husband Joe Weiss
What was really exciting for me, a former volunteer at the City Hall Tour Office is the excitement of having parties at the newly restored and beautified City Hall. For years the courtyard, Conversation Hall, the Mayor Reception Room has been dark and vacant of money making revenue for the past 6 years. The money generated from these events supported the “Fund for Philadelphia”, which funded many of the cultural events held in City Hall, and my favorite, the City Hall Tour Program where I volunteered. But when the events ended, and funds dried up, the program had to shop for a funder to support the Tour including the school children’s educational programs. Happy days are here again as it is now run through the Independence Visitor Center. Another event that was cut so long ago, and which will hopefully find it’s way back is the “City Hall Ball”. Another fundraising event for “The Fund for City Hall”. The previous mayor changed the name to “The Mayor’s Ball” and not surprisingly attendance dropped off to nil and was scrapped. Now with the launching of a new administration, and the launching of an exciting magazine the City will hopefully relaunch the practice of renting out City Hall for parties and festivities which raise monies to benefit the City.

Who’s this new guy we’ve been seeing all over town. Who’s Linkin has over 200 connections in less 6 months, ok I am so jealous, I just started that linkin thing and I have 2 links, so link to me or visit my Facebook, ok enough about me. I am so not Internet savy socially connected. Anyway it’s Matthew Vlahos (R), Spinster (Director, Public Relations) at Red Tettemer (advertising). I met him about 6 months ago when I covered Paris Hilton at Macy’s. Remember, he was trying to get a photo of the State’s representative Groundhog with the heiress, but Paris would have none of it. With him is an equally energetic bunny, producer and future law school student, David Alan Perkiss (L). Ice cream hmmm
Special guest was Philly Native Jarrod Spector who is currently starring in Chicago’s touring company of “Jersey Boy’s” and is featured in the premiere issue of “Philadelphia Style”

People were dancing, chatting and having a good time

There was a VIP room which had couches

David and wife, Out There PR maven Sheryl Raskin Can you believe the COMPASS in City Hall courtyard is an almost perfect place to have the dance floor. The history of standing on the Center Square in the center square is just mind boggling to me. Did I mention I also volunteer for Preservation of Landmarks, and the building I give architectural tours of is City Hall. So I really love this building. http://www.philalandmarks.org/landmarks.aspx

and before I knew it the night was over. There’s no doubt that the Philadelphia Style kickoff party was a great success, I can’t imagine the challeges that the Cashman girls had to face to pull off a party that ran so smoothly, and successfully. Guests were happy, the food was delicious, desserts were sweet and people were dry. Did I mention the monsoon. Originally the event was supposed to be an open air party, but it was not to be and a tent was erected, the floor plans were changed and you know what I like it better than the open air plan. Cashman & Assocs. the force behind many successful events including the Relaunching of Philly Style at Philadelphia’s City Hall. Carrie Nork, Nicole Cashman and Dana Lombardi for putting on an amazing event Coat Check Cashman girl and friend Rebecca Perkins, Sgt. Ray and Kerry Kelly

Cashman girls, Ellie and associates hand out the gift bags for the attendees. The newest Cashman girl Nicole Blicher, who you may know as the co-founder of Nice People theatre.

Looks like my photos were picked up here: http://tob.hollywood.com/2008/05/11/jon-bon-jovi-still-a-sexy-beast/ and here (I hate when they only credit my photo agency) http://mrpoplife.typepad.com/musings_from_a_nobody/2008/05/many-photos-of.html

Cirque du Soleil has returned to Philadelphia in the form of KOOZA

Who were those crazy folks along Broad Street Thursday?

Cirque du Soleil has returned to Philadelphia in the form of KOOZA: It combines two circus traditions – acrobatic performance and the art of clowning.
The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor. The Innocent’s journey brings him into contact with a panoply of comic characters such as the King, the Trickster, the Pickpocket, and the Obnoxious Tourist and his Bad Dog.
owwww he looks like he’s in pain
The end..here’s the website:
http://www.cirquedusoleil.com/CirqueDuSoleil/en/showstickets/kooza/tickets/philadelphia.htm
here’s a website of someone traveling with Cirque. It’s good to read about the show, but also his take on Philly. http://darklydreamingdavid.wordpress.com/
