Friday I covered the Citadel Country Spirit USA, Philadelphia’s Country Music Festival in Glenmoore Pa. It was a beautiful day. The grounds at Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show were the perfect spot for a festival, it was spacious and there were plenty of activities to keep one entertained if they wanted to roam around and still hear good country music. It was a beautiful setting. I can’t wait to go again next year, as well as see what other events happen there.
it was great to see people enjoying themselves out and about
Smiles everywhere
There was a lot of food choices, a picnic area, play area and lots of space to watch the show.
Thanks ladies for volunteering and raising funds for local charities
There are still tickets left for Saturday with headliner Miranda Lambert and Sunday Chris Young HERE
Brantley Gilbert was a headliner
he was special
The show is rain or shine, but a little rain last night didn’t dampen anyone’s spirit and was actually a relief after the hot day of fun, music under the sun. Stay hydrated, there’s plenty of food and drink to be had.
Happy Made in America. I wasn’t there this year to shoot the best fashions, so I scoured social media to find them. There wasn’t a lot of photos of people, but there was a lot of photos of acts on stage.
And Beyonce with JayZ
And Bill Clinton with fans, including notable Richard Bush, lead singer of my fav 80s band – The A’s
I scoured the internet for about two days, and this is all I came up with. Maybe people didn’t know what the hashtag was, or just didn’t post selfies. I saw a lot of musicians on stage though.
Malia Obama stole the show
Winning
After Jay Electronica invited them on stage
Rahel Solomon, Melony Roy and Brook Thomas all of CBS3 Philly
This year I wasn’t credentialed to shoot the event as there was a huge demand from around the world. I did get offers to shoot it after the initial turn down, but decided to go away instead and Mike was very happy about the vacation. Budwesier also invited me to be their guest, and bring a guest, but Mike was not up for the 8 – 10 hr day he’d have to endure with me cause I like to be there for most of the time (FOMO – LOL). Even though I had a great vacation, and saw things that were on my summer bucket list, I really missed it, the people, all the fun things to see, the music, but most importantly that it happens right here Philly. See you next year, Bud!! (BTW it’s hell living on the Parkway after MIA completes too, it’s actually worse since everyone is back from the shore. Do yourself a favor, do not drive near the Parkway for another week.)
Earlier I mentioned the drink prices, now I noticed they put up the Made In America Menu
I have to say it’s epic. So many choices, and interesting choices, as well as the standard burgers, dogs and fries. Love the titles for the “eateries” too. Banh Voyage – Then they want you to chose your adventure.
There’s also a food/drink court on The Oval
Here are the prices for the drinks. Remember there are water stations for you to fill up your water bottles
for FREE – Also remember Budweiser is picking up your Lyft tab on Saturday and Sunday nights. When you get the ride, or the next morning when you awake, thank them using the HASHTAG #GiveADamn cause they do. Drink responsibly.

There’s also a few bars on Fairmount Ave, which is North of the Parkway. There’s Bishop’s Collar, 24th and Fairmount, The London Grille at 23rd and Fairmount and Urban Saloon on Fairmount between 22nd and 23rd.
